Seven Saints and All Saints
Event Promotion and Design
Role: Communications Coordinator & Designer
Seven Saints
St. Margaret of York hosted Seven Saints relics loaned by Our Lady of the Holy Spirit Center, in Norwood. Parishioners and the parish school students came to learn about these inspirational people and venerate their relics a traditional Catholic practice.
Draft Promotional Flyers
1. First version of the promotional flyer after the change in direction. 2. The second iteration tweeked the colors to make every thing stand out more added more colors for visual interest, and experimented with different layouts. 3. Additional experimentation and getting closer to the final layout.

Saint Icons
The seven saints relics featured at the event were: St. Catherine Labouré, St. Maria Goretti, St. Faustina Kowalska, St. Padre Pio, Thérèse of Lisieux, St. Josephine Bakhita, and St. John Vianney. I illustrated each of these icons as vector graphics.

Flyer
St. Padre Pio was our keynote Saint and his silhouette is prominently featured on the flyer for the event. The silhouette was carried over from an earlier design that was scrapped when a similar event fell through earlier in the year.

Social Media
As this was primarily an internal event for our community, information was shared with neighboring parishes and we had some light social media promotion consisting of a Facebook event and a banner for our cover page.

All Saints
The Feast of All Saints is an annual Catholic celebration that we were able to repurpose the Saint Icons for. Additionally I created a new companion piece for the Feast of All Souls that is celebrated the day after All Saints where the necrology for the deceased memebers of the community in the previous year is read and they are remembered with candles reperesenting their baptismal candles. These images were used for bulletin entries, Mass slides, and Facebook event covers
