When St. Margaret of York prepared to reopen for public worship during the pandemic, the parish needed a clear, pastoral document explaining how liturgical participation would differ from normal practice while the dispensation was in effect. Referencing directives from the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, I collaborated with the pastor and staff colleagues, to create a clear, accessible guide explaining new worship protocols. I designed the manual using a subtly darkened version of our brand palette to signal official communication with a more authoritative, formal tone.

My responsibilities included structuring the content for easy reading, drafting key notices, and ensuring messaging consistency. I also coordinated distribution across all parish communication channels, including direct outreach to ministry leaders and the wider parish community.

The guide became the parish’s primary reference during reopening and played a significant role in sustaining connection, trust, and participation during a critical phase of the pandemic.
